This week's activity is creating models of our workspace at home. I've used measuring tape to measure the dimensions of the room and the windows. I made my model at a 1:20 scale since if I made it at a 1:10 scale it would be way too big. Through using both paper and cardboard, I think that cardboard is much more sturdy and would be more suitable as the base shell while paper is good for folding and making many both geometric and organic shapes.

Folding Techniques
I've learnt a few different types of folding techniques from the videos which could be really handy for making furniture for the room. I think they would also be great to use in the future model making or even just inspiration from the forms.
